I wanna tell you about this thing that happened on my trip from Istanbul to Adana on May 10th. I got this new suitcase and it got totally wrecked when someone was handling it. The top part is completely busted now. I cannot comprehend how my entrusted belongings were treated with such disregard, as if they were mere objects to be carelessly thrown into the cargo hold. So, I saw the damage and went to the staff for help, but they didn't care and just ignored me. Despite my attempts to explain the situation and the importance of the matter, it seemed as though no one cared to listen. As someone who frequently travels due to work commitments, I have never encountered such blatant negligence and lack of respect for passengers' belongings. I had held Turkish Airlines (THY) in high regard, but this experience has shattered my confidence in the airline. It is disheartening to witness such subpar service and lack of professionalism. All I can do is hope that THY will address this issue seriously and take immediate steps to rectify the situation, I won't hold back from venting on all kinds of social media.
