Turkish Airlines Seat Changes and Poor Service
The service of Turkish Airlines is very poor. Customers are not treated equally, and there is discrimination. They change other customers' seats to give good seats to friends and family members. Then, they act as if it is the customer's fault. If a seat has been selected for a ticket sold six months in advance, changing it two days before the flight is highly disrespectful. It is absolutely unforgivable. Doing the same thing to the same person on three different flights is also absolutely unforgivable. We called to complain, and they just made excuses. On flight TK12 from JFK to Istanbul, they did not serve meals because there was a 'sick passenger' on a 10-hour flight. Only the sick passengers were taken care of, and the rest of the passengers were ignored. Having a sick passenger on board is not a valid reason to not serve other customers; it is highly disrespectful. I bought my ticket six months ago, paid extra money, but they changed my seat three times on three different flights just two days before the flight. Do you need to have a friend working at Turkish Airlines to receive good service? This kind of service is unacceptable. What was done to me is against human rights. I do not accept this and demand my rights. Turkish Airlines should make improvements for this degrading and poor service.
