Turkish Airlines Passenger Issue with Flight Change
On July 29, 2023, I booked a ticket for the 14:45 Ankara-Van flight 10 days in advance. At 10:30 AM, I checked in, sent my luggage to the baggage hold, and waited at passenger waiting area 114 for the plane's doors to open. At 14:30, they told me the gate had changed and they wouldn't let me on the plane. They claimed an announcement had been made! One of those unintelligible announcements, no doubt! It's impossible to understand or hear them. I could have been in the restroom or on a phone call and missed it. Don't you have an alternative solution? You are Turkish Airlines; how can this happen? Is it so difficult to send notifications to the registered numbers in the system or to direct personnel to the changed gate? What are you thinking? Look at the situation Turkish Airlines has fallen into. The name should be changed to Misery Airlines.
