I Want Full Control of My Google Business Listing Returned to Me

I am the owner of E**** D***** Pide Kebap Lahmacun, and I would like to report a serious dispute regarding the management of my Google Business Profile.

For several years, a company operating under the website partnersturkiye.com.tr has been demanding annual payments from me under the name of “contract renewal” for managing my Google Business Profile. However, I have never signed a written contract with this company. The only document they have provided is an unsigned agreement that was prepared solely by them. They claim that I gave verbal approval, but due to the intensity of running my business, I honestly do not remember providing any such authorization.

When I clearly stated that I no longer wanted to work with this company, they demanded approximately $540 in annual fees and contract renewal charges. Furthermore, when I informed them that I wished to terminate the relationship, I was told that their accounting department would issue a cancellation penalty or termination fee. During conversations with Google, I was informed that third parties generally do not have the authority to charge business owners mandatory fees simply for ownership or management of a Google Business Profile.

Shortly after I expressed my desire to stop working with them, my business listing became inactive after June 5. This has had a direct negative impact on my business visibility and customer access. It is deeply concerning that, despite my request to end the relationship, payment demands continue while my business profile appears to be used as leverage against me.

I do not wish to continue any commercial relationship with this company. Therefore, I request the cancellation of all alleged debts, contract renewal fees, termination penalties, or any other charges claimed against me, including the approximately $540 amount they are demanding.

In addition, I request that full ownership and administrative control of the Google Business Profile belonging to E**** D***** Pide Kebap Lahmacun be permanently transferred back to me as the legitimate business owner. I also ask that all recurring payment demands, pressure tactics, and attempts to restrict access to my business profile cease immediately.

I expect a fair resolution that restores my full control over my business's online presence and prevents any further financial or operational harm to my company.
