Turkish Airlines Flight Delay Notification Issue
On April 14, 2024, I received a message that my Turkish Airlines flight from Batman to Istanbul at 19:25 was delayed to 21:15 due to operational and force majeure reasons. Despite being at the airport counter at 20:00 and checking in, they did not let me in, stating that the flight was rescheduled to 20:45. Many others, including myself, did not receive any message about the flight being moved to 20:45. Even if we had, which airline reschedules a flight just a few hours before departure? This is highly irresponsible. It is well-known that Turkish Airlines overbooks flights and causes such issues. As always, this company overbooks and causes inconvenience to passengers, seemingly preferring to make money this way. I created a feedback form to resolve my issue. My form, numbered TK-10663215, was rejected in a mocking manner, and my ticket was not even refunded. I want to state that I will file a lawsuit and apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee since my issue was not resolved, including by the airport staff. It is disappointing that a prestigious company like Turkish Airlines falls into such a poor situation, causing problems for passengers and then refusing to resolve them. I want to express my regret regarding Turkish Airlines.
