Turkish Airlines Overcharged for a Simple Date Change
I recently purchased Turkish Airlines plane tickets. Everyone makes mistakes, but it appears that these businesses are waiting for you to make one in order to take advantage of you. When I bought a ticket, I made a mistake in the travel date. I accidentally booked for next Thursday instead of yesterday or today. That is a valid mistake, and I am willing to pay the fare difference. Turkish Airlines, on the other hand, charged me nearly 1,800 TL for two tickets that had originally cost me 2,380 TL. This charge is completely unreasonable in my opinion. I want to emphasize that I earn my money through hard work, earning around 12,800 TL per month. These extra charges are nothing short of heinous. I made a minor mistake, and they are attempting to charge me exorbitant fees as a result. It's a heinous practice, and I hope they consider fairness and ethics in their operations.
