Turkish Airlines Overbooking Issue and Denied Boarding
THY overbooks flights and does not allow online check-in. Additionally, their staff provides misleading information, causing confusion and inconvenience to customers. They think offering money can compensate for all this trouble. Despite purchasing my ticket months in advance, I was not allowed to check-in online. When I called customer service, they assured me that the check-in was completed and there was nothing to worry about. However, at the desk, I was informed that the check-in was not done and due to overbooking, there was a possibility that I might not be able to board the flight. Reaching Istanbul Airport is already a hassle, and the next available flight was the following day. This means if there is no seat, I would need to return and come back the next day. The stress, disappointment, and exhaustion are overwhelming. Misleading customers with incorrect information is unacceptable for such a major airline company!
