Turkish Airlines Denied Compensation for Overbooked Flight
I purchased a ticket from Turkish Airlines for an international flight. Unfortunately, my flight got overbooked due to excessive ticket sales. I had to stay at Turkish Airlines' hotel that night, and they provided me with a ticket for the next available flight. They assured me that compensation would be paid. When I visited Turkish Airlines' office, they claimed there was no cash available for compensation and advised me to request a refund online. I contacted Turkish Airlines' customer service, filled out the form as instructed, and submitted it together. Two weeks passed, but no payment was made to my account. I called Turkish Airlines' customer service again, went through the process of filling out the form once more, and waited for another two weeks, but still no payment came through. We repeated this cycle a third time, and even after calling again, my compensation remains unpaid. Turkish Airlines is deceiving me and causing me great distress.
