Oral-B Rechargeable Toothbrush Charging Problem on Two Different Models
I purchased an Oral-B Easy Clean SA rechargeable toothbrush from Şok Market on 10 January 2026. Shortly after I started using it, the device began to work intermittently, did not hold a proper charge, and even after long charging times the red light would come on with a “charge” warning. Due to this issue, I filed an application with the Consumer Arbitration Committee (Application No: 2026/0550.132) and the expert examination process is still ongoing. On 21 July 2026, I bought an Oral-B iO2 2-piece Black and Green Rechargeable Toothbrush Set from TeknoSA. Unfortunately, this new product is showing exactly the same malfunction: it works intermittently, does not hold a charge properly, and the red light comes on as if the battery is empty. There is no functional e‑mail channel or contact address shared on the official Oral-B website, so I was unable to reach the company directly by e‑mail and had to write my complaint through this platform. The fact that the same malfunction has occurred in two different Oral-B models has seriously worried me in terms of product reliability and quality. I would like to learn in detail what causes this problem (for example a production defect, charging system issue etc.), whether there are similar complaints reported for these models, and what users are expected to do in such a situation. My primary expectation from Oral-B is a clear and detailed technical explanation about the cause of the problem and the steps to be taken. If necessary, I am ready to send the products for inspection. Depending on the result, I also request that my victimisation be resolved through a refund or product replacement, whichever is appropriate.
