Turkish Airlines Membership Cancellation Without Explanation
I obtained a credit card with a miles feature and registered on the THY system with membership number TK008225447. Later, I made purchases with my credit card to accumulate miles, collecting approximately 123,000 miles. I intended to use about 90,000 miles for myself and my family. Despite paying the taxes and repeatedly trying to use the miles online and via the phone number 444 0 849, the miles were not deducted. I then created feedback files, and it took about two weeks for these processes to be resolved, by which time the dates I wanted to book tickets had passed. Finally, I received an email stating that my membership was canceled without an explanation. I only collected miles to use for travel with my family. Now, they have concluded the situation with a message saying I need to go to court to learn the reason. When I contacted the bank to ask if I had made any purchases that violated the miles rules, they confirmed that I had not and that the miles were automatically reflected in the THY system at the end of each period. I still don't understand why I need to resolve such an unfair situation through the court. I hope the relevant authorities see this and intervene.
