I Lost Over 8,000 Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles Overnight
I have been a Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles customer for years. I earn miles both by using affiliated credit cards and by flying, and I use these miles to book flights. Yesterday, I logged into my account to check my miles for an award ticket, and I had between 19,000 and 21,000 miles. Today, when I logged in again to check my miles, I saw that I only had 10,267 miles. I called Turkish Airlines customer relations to report the issue. A case was created with the number TK-11001167, and I received an email response. It stated, 'Upon reviewing your feedback, we would like to inform you that no transactions were detected within the specified date range in your membership.' First of all, I did not contact them with a suspicion of a transaction. No transactions are visible in my account. I reached out because of the miles that were in my account and are now missing. Additionally, I was advised to contact my bank. However, I have already confirmed that the miles earned from my banks have been credited to my account, but I cannot see them now. I still contacted my banks and received confirmation that the miles were transferred. The fact that I could see the miles in my account until yesterday evening supports their response. In the screenshot I attached, it appears that I had no earnings between February and June, but I made purchases with both of my affiliated credit cards and earned miles. Since I need to book a ticket, I request that my issue be resolved as soon as possible.
