I Face Peugeot 408 PureTech Warranty Uncertainty

I own a 2023 Peugeot 408. Although Stellantis has clearly introduced extended engine warranty coverage of up to 10 years or 180,000 kilometers for certain 1.2 PureTech engines in other markets, the lack of a clear implementation or announcement in Turkey has been seriously concerning me for approximately one year.

Last week, I contacted both an authorized Peugeot service center and Peugeot Turkey customer service regarding this issue. I was told that they had not received any official written notice or instruction on the matter and that there is currently no clear policy being applied. I purchased my vehicle from the Ilıcaklar Peugeot dealership in Malatya, and I believe I am being placed at a disadvantage in terms of warranty coverage even though my vehicle uses the same engine as vehicles sold in other countries.

I request that the same 10-year or 180,000-kilometer engine warranty coverage applicable to eligible 1.2 PureTech vehicles in other markets also be clearly and formally defined for vehicles sold in Turkey. I also expect Peugeot Turkey and Stellantis to provide all affected customers with a clear, written, and binding explanation regarding the warranty policy.
