Turkish Airlines Lost My Luggage But Didn't Provide Any Solution
I purchased a direct flight from THY from Ankara to Edremit. They canceled the flight. Since we had already booked the hotel, car rental, etc., we had to change to another flight with a layover in Istanbul. There was very little time between the connecting flights. Everyone on the same connecting flight said that the luggage wouldn't make it in such a short time, but THY, having already taken the money, didn't care. As a result, when we landed in Edremit, THY said that 10 pieces of luggage were lost. We came for a 2-day vacation, and we have no money, clothes, or anything on us. Customer service does not provide any information on when the issue will be resolved. Therefore, our 2-day vacation, hotel, car rental, and time were all wasted. We are waiting all day at the airport in uncertainty, and THY takes no action on this issue. Customer service openly said, 'This is Turkey, there are no quick solutions here.' Celebi employees mentioned that they face this problem every day and that the time between the connecting flights is too short, with people waiting for their luggage since yesterday. In short, THY knowingly ruined the vacation of people who came for just 2 days, and there is no solution in sight.
