Turkish Airlines Lost My Luggage and Didn't Even Search for It!
During my transfer journey with THY, my luggage was lost. For 2 months, they couldn't find it, or rather, they didn't even search for it. The luggage was moved from place to place. According to the information I managed to get, the luggage had been at Istanbul Airport at least 4-5 times, but no one tried to contact the owner. For a month, I called them every day and physically applied to the airport office. Later, I learned that my luggage was going back and forth to Istanbul during that time. I was financially and emotionally distressed by THY. I will express and write about this everywhere. The information provided mentioned that the necessary expenses I had to make would be reimbursed. However, they are not even responding to this request now. When I call them, the call center knows nothing and just takes notes. THY simply works by taking notes but takes no action. Then they boast about their service. I've traveled with other airlines, and they contacted me by phone and even sent messages to return my luggage within 2 days. THY's biggest problem is the lack of communication and respect for personal belongings.
