Turkish Airlines Delayed My Baggage
In June, I purchased a THY flight ticket for August 26th from Trabzon to Izmir with a stopover in Istanbul. I also booked an early reservation at a hotel and paid for airport transfer to the hotel for my vacation, but I had no idea THY would cause such an issue. Upon arrival at the destination, I learned that our baggage would arrive on a different flight. Two of my three bags arrived on one flight, while the remaining bag seemed to be on a tour around Turkey. I waited 4 hours for my luggage. Since I couldn't get my luggage, the transfer service I paid for to get to my hotel was wasted. With a 4-year-old child, we were stranded at the airport without food or water, unable to find a single THY employee to assist us. Despite making the necessary complaints, they did not take responsibility for the inconvenience they caused. They also refused to reimburse the transfer fee I lost. I experienced this inconvenience because of THY. I am requesting compensation for my loss.
