Turkish Airlines Istanbul to Samsun Flight Boarding Issue
Today, I arrived at the airport one hour before my 13:30 flight from Istanbul to Samsun. I first tried to get my boarding pass from the machines, but it gave an error. The staff there mentioned that there might be an error with my name and suggested that I should get my boarding pass from the desk. When I explained the situation to the desk staff, they directed me to another desk. I went to the other desk, and they directed me to yet another desk. This happened several times. Finally, I found someone who could help, but they told me that the flight was closed. I couldn't get my ticket 30 minutes before the flight and was left stranded. No extra flight was arranged, no assistance was provided. I was not given any information about other flights, and no compensation was offered. My payment was not refunded. I paid ₺3500 for the ticket and no solution was provided, making my ticket unusable. Due to what happened, I intend to file complaints with all relevant authorities.
