THY Istanbul Airport Gate Change Issue


At Istanbul Airport, my flight with gate number G1G was scheduled to depart at 08:45, with the gate opening at 08:15. Realizing that no one had opened the gate, I asked the staff upstairs and found out they had changed the gate number. I had been at the airport since 06:00, and there was no announcement or notification about the change. When I finally found the gate and explained the situation, they told me to speak to the information desk for assistance. Although I still had a chance to board, the person at the information desk told me to wait in line despite my urgency and even rudely said, 'Don't get excited, wait.' Instead of helping me, they wasted time. I lost my job because I missed my flight and my health deteriorated. My blood pressure dropped, and I am still waiting at the airport because they promised an immediate response. I requested compensation with the 13:50 flight. Due to the airport's mistake and the staff's indifference, I missed my flight and have been in distress since 06:00 in the morning, still waiting.
