Turkish Airlines Increased My Flight Price Significantly After Booking – Unfair Price Change
I recently booked a round-trip flight for four people from Istanbul to Nuremberg on Turkish Airlines (THY) through their online website, reservation code TRY 73.144,52, for September 22 (departure) and September 25 (return) in 2025. Just 18 hours later, when I checked the reservation, I was shocked to see the ticket price had skyrocketed to ₺46,000,000.
I contacted THY, but their response was highly disappointing. They claimed that their ticket prices fluctuate due to real-time changes in availability, but this drastic increase feels unfair and unethical, especially from our national carrier. I believe THY should correct this issue and honor the original price I booked. This practice doesn’t align with the trustworthiness expected from such a prestigious airline. Please address this matter promptly.
