Turkish Airlines Forced My Carry-On Into Checked Baggage – Fragile Item Shattered

On today's 20:05 Nevşehir-Istanbul flight with Turkish Airlines, my carry-on, which met all the size requirements, was forcibly checked into the baggage hold. I had just bought a mirror that holds sentimental value, which I packed in my carry-on to keep it safe. When I opened my suitcase after the flight, I was devastated to find the mirror shattered into pieces. I’m furious—why was my carry-on forcibly placed in the hold when it met the airline’s standards? What right or law allows this? I am filing a complaint and expect compensation for the damage. This is unacceptable!
