On August 10, 2024, I was denied boarding for my Kayseri-Istanbul, Istanbul-Nuremberg flight by your Kayseri Airport staff. I arrived at the airport at 08:00 for my 08:45 flight from Kayseri. I had no checked luggage (I purchased a ticket without baggage), yet despite being there 45 minutes before the flight, I was not allowed to board. This caused me to miss my connecting flight, and my ticket was rendered useless.
I purchased the ticket from the official Turkish Airlines website, and I was not notified or warned that I needed to be at the airport an hour before the flight. There was no sufficient information provided regarding this requirement. Even though I had no baggage and arrived 45 minutes prior to departure, I was still not permitted to board.
I request compensation for this inconvenience, including a refund of my ticket and appropriate action against the staff responsible. I will continue to file complaints with all relevant authorities until this issue is resolved.
