On September 8, 2024, while traveling from Prague to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK1772, the meal service started very late, despite our flight already being delayed by an hour. Some passengers, including myself and my spouse, were not served any drinks. After finishing our meals, we were told to place our empty trays under our seats as they were not collected. Throughout this process, we were completely ignored, and our questions were left unanswered.
When we repeatedly asked why drinks were not served and why our trays were not collected, we were told it was due to turbulence. The staff’s indifferent and disrespectful behavior was extremely upsetting. Even children and elderly passengers who requested drinks were not served, and their trays were not cleared either.
I specifically chose to fly with Turkish Airlines, even though it was more expensive than other airlines, but after this experience, we regret our decision and will not be choosing THY again.
