Turkish Airlines Domestic Lounge Access Issue
On April 22, I arrived at Istanbul Airport with a 3-hour and 40-minute delay on my Narita-Istanbul flight with Turkish Airlines. After a 15-hour and 40-minute flight and wait, on April 23, I purchased the Domestic Lounge service (₺900) while booking the earliest Istanbul-Konya flight. However, due to the 15-hour and 40-minute delayed flight, I was denied access to the Lounge service citing the '4-hour rule'. We accepted the situation and politely asked, 'Can we use the 4 hours now?' The request was referred to the responsible person, but we were turned away at the door. I don't expect this complaint to be taken seriously or addressed, but as a global company, you should not treat your passengers who have experienced intercontinental delays so negligently when it comes to providing a paid service.
