Turkish Airlines Doesn't Know How I Can Carry My Sports Equipment on Flights
I need to purchase a flight ticket for September 1st, but neither Turkish Airlines customer service nor the Istanbul Airport call center can provide clear and definitive information on how I can transport my sports equipment. As a result, I am unable to buy my ticket (Additionally, no one answers the phone at the TGS Operation Control Center, just so you know).
It's a huge airport, and if Turkish Airlines can't provide information on how I can transport my dumbbell set, why do you have customer service working for nothing? Also, in the extensive list of sports equipment, there isn't a single item close to 'weights' or 'weight set.' Why? Why can't I transport my set as sports equipment? Do I have to purchase extra baggage or weight? Why am I being directed to the more expensive option? Even then, there's no guarantee I can transport it that way. Why? Because I can't get information on this matter either, that's why.
