Viomi Alpha Pro 2 Main Brush Error Won’t Go Away
I purchased my Viomi Alpha Pro 2 robot vacuum about three years ago. For the past two weeks, it has repeatedly displayed a main brush error. After running for a short period, the vacuum reports that there is a problem with the main brush, immediately stops operating, and leaves the cleaning cycle unfinished.
I removed the main brush and cleaned it thoroughly, but the problem continues and I am no longer able to use the vacuum. Although the product is still covered by its warranty, I have not yet contacted customer service or opened a service request.
In addition, ever since I purchased the vacuum, I have been dissatisfied with its overall cleaning performance because it has never emptied or cleaned the dust bin effectively. Due to both this warranty-covered defect and my overall dissatisfaction with the product, I request that Viomi replace my robot vacuum with a new unit at no cost. If a replacement is not possible, I request a permanent repair free of charge under the warranty.
Progress
My Viomi Alpha 2 Pro robot vacuum that I bought from Media Markt started showing faults related to the main brush and positioning signal about six months after purchase. The product is still under warranty, and I had also extended the warranty to three years. Nevertheless, the device keeps having problems and I cannot use it without issues.
During this period the product was repaired, but the faults persisted. When I informed the Media Markt store that I was no longer satisfied with the product and that I was suffering due to its constant breakdowns, they simply told me to apply to the Consumer Court instead of offering a solution.
For this product, whose warranty is still valid and for which I specifically extended the warranty to ensure long‑term trouble‑free use, I request either a permanent fix or assistance with a replacement or refund to remedy the hardship I have experienced.
