Turkish Airlines Denied My Boarding Despite Completed Documents
Hello, I had a ticket for Istanbul/Mexico on March 9th at 2:25 AM and a return ticket on the 31st. I arrived at the airport, received my boarding pass, had my passport stamped, and passed through the security check. However, when I reached the gate, private security personnel were conducting checks, and despite having all my documents in order, I was not allowed to board the plane. My documents included a round-trip ticket, e-visa, and hotel reservation receipt. Additionally, I had a doctor's appointment at a private clinic. Despite all this, I was denied boarding. I requested a report to be filed, but they refused without providing any justification. I believe their actions were illegal. They inconvenienced dozens of Turkish citizens like me in front of foreign individuals, making us look ridiculous. When I went to the Turkish Airlines support office, they gave me a customer service number to call. When I called, no one helped, and eventually, we had to reschedule the ticket and return home. It is still uncertain whether we will receive a refund for the ticket.
