Turkish Airlines Delayed the Flight to USA and Charged Extra

I have decided never to fly with THY again. I frequently travel abroad and always choose THY, but this time I was deeply disappointed during my Houston-Istanbul flight. My mother and I had a 12-hour flight for which we paid a significant amount of money. Despite having a total baggage allowance of 2x23 kg each, our bags weighed 3 bags of 22 kg and 1 bag of 26 kg. However, we were still charged 80 USD even though the weight was within the limit, and the flight was delayed by 1 hour and 10 minutes. Additionally, we were treated very rudely, which upset us greatly.

As a Turkish citizen, I no longer want to fly with THY. I frequently travel to and from America and will tell all my friends and acquaintances both in the USA and Turkey not to recommend THY. If I, as a Turk, do not want to fly with THY, foreigners certainly won't. This situation is a disgrace for THY.

I cannot believe that on a long intercontinental flight, not only was there a delay, but we were also charged a high fee for just 3 kg (even though the total was within normal limits) and treated rudely on top of that. I will post about this on the internet and my social media. By the way, I am immediately applying to cancel my Miles and Smiles membership.
