On September 28, 2023, the TK 2431 Antalya-Istanbul flight scheduled for 17:30 was delayed multiple times and finally opened for boarding at 00:15. We were at the airport at 15:15 for our 17:30 flight. We were extremely inconvenienced for 9 hours with my 2.5-year-old son. I am complaining about the THY staff and management who didn't even bother to provide an explanation or approach us. Imagine a flight arriving in Istanbul at 3 AM. And our journey didn't even end in Istanbul; we reached our home in Tekirdağ at 06:00 in the morning. You will remain in our minds as an airline company that does not befit our country. All flights before and after ours departed on time or faced only a 1-hour delay, but we were delayed for 8 hours. The reason was the plane not being full, which we understood from the continued ticket sales. Rest assured, we will apply for compensation and consumer rights everywhere!
