Turkish Airlines Delayed My Flight and Provided Poor Customer Service

On March 31st, I arrived at the airport for my 8:30 PM Turkish Airlines flight from Istanbul to Beijing, only to find out that the flight was delayed by 5.5 hours, from 1:30 AM to 7:00 AM. We received no notification via SMS, email, or any other means. When I spoke with the representative (a lady with glasses seated at F44), she rudely claimed that an SMS should have been sent at 9:34 PM, and at that moment, I received an SMS and email. When I questioned this, she dismissively said they don't send the SMS themselves. To make matters worse, she offered us meal vouchers for Popeyes, which felt absurd. She rudely continued to insist that the cost to Turkish Airlines for making us wait until 7 AM was just ₺200 worth of Popeyes vouchers. I'm not writing this to seek compensation for today's ordeal. You abandoned us at the airport for 10 hours. We purchase these expensive direct flight tickets to avoid transfers, which are much more comfortable. The lack of hotel or lounge accommodations today cannot be compensated by any future offers. Turkish Airlines is a regret!
