Today, I arrived at Istanbul Airport at 12:20 AM for my 12:40 PM THY flight due to weather conditions. The rain was so heavy from Istanbul Küçükçekmece to Istanbul Airport that I even saw four car accidents on the way. After all these difficulties, I still had 20 minutes when I arrived at Istanbul Airport. I lost time at the security check and was eventually told that I had missed my flight. Despite mentioning that I still had 20 minutes, the staff directed us to the ticket sales point, saying 'check the status of your ticket.' When we reached the relevant point, we were neither greeted with interest nor a smile. A new ticket was issued at the same price as the one I had purchased. I will not travel with THY anymore. I have been a customer for years, but after this incident, I do not plan to use their services again.
