Turkish Airlines Damaged My Luggage, Compensation Request

On April 23rd, while I was on my flight from Stockholm to Istanbul with Turkish Airlines, my suitcase was given back to me in a damaged condition. As one of the nation's top airlines, their response was quite disappointing. They said the suitcase was already damaged when they got it and made a note of it in their records. But nobody asked me to sign any form saying that the suitcase was damaged when I received it, because it was in perfect condition when I checked it in.
This response is completely unacceptable for an airline that prides itself on offering premium service. I was really hoping for Turkish Airlines to prioritize their customers, but I'm pretty let down by how they handled the situation.
