Turkish Airlines Changed My Reserved Seats Without Explanation
On April 13, 2024, I purchased two tickets from Turkish Airlines for a flight from Istanbul to Diyarbakir on June 13, 2024. I also paid for two adjacent seats in business class and completed the booking with assigned seat numbers. Three days before the flight, I received an email informing me that our seat numbers had been changed. They cited operational reasons for the seat change but did not provide any further explanation. We believe our seats were arbitrarily reassigned to passengers who paid more due to increased fares during the holiday season. This is unfair; I booked and paid for these seats two months in advance, specifically choosing seats to sit next to each other, but now our seats have been changed and separated. We demand that this unfairness and mistake be corrected immediately.
