Turkish Airlines Cash Miles Error - Miles Not Refunded

On 5 February, via the Turkish Airlines mobile application, I attempted to purchase a ticket on the Çukurova – Istanbul Airport route for the flight scheduled on 6 February between 07:00 and 08:55 using the Cash&Miles option. During the transaction, miles were withdrawn from my Miles&Smiles account number TK 423174060, but at the credit card payment step I received a “credit card date error” warning and the payment could not be collected, so the ticketing process was not completed. Following this, between approximately 11:00 and 13:40 on the same day, I immediately contacted the call center. In the call that started at 12:33 and lasted about 13 minutes, the representative informed me that a reservation had been created, that they had refunded my miles from there, and that my miles would be reflected back to my account immediately. Despite this statement, the miles withdrawn during the initial transaction were not transferred back to my Miles&Smiles account. While all this was happening, the ticket price in the system was around ₺4,300, however, since the transaction could not be completed due to a system error beyond my control, I was later forced to purchase the same ticket at a price above ₺4,900. As a result, I could not benefit from the ticket price I saw at the time of the first transaction, I suffered a loss of miles and also had to buy the ticket at a higher price. I believe that I have been aggrieved due to this system-related error, which occurred outside of my control, that this situation is contrary to Consumer Rights, and that the ticketing should have been completed at the approximately ₺4,300 price I initially saw. Therefore, I request a refund of the excess amount I was charged compared to the first price, and the complete reinstatement of the miles withdrawn during the first transaction to my Miles&Smiles account in full. Otherwise, I state that I will pursue my rights before the Consumer Arbitration Committee and the relevant official authorities.
