My flight from Hatay to Istanbul on September 23rd (today) with PNR code rixaj8 was canceled just 3 hours before departure, preventing me from attending my best friend's father's funeral. There were no available flights from Hatay or nearby cities soon, so I had to suspend the ticket. Since I have to start work on Monday, I had already purchased my return ticket, and due to the lack of flights from Istanbul to Hatay, I had to book a flight from Istanbul to Adana with PNR code v3hn5n. After that, I would have had to take a 3.5-hour bus ride back to Hatay.
Since the Istanbul-Adana flight was not canceled, a full refund cannot be issued. I don't understand how this is my fault. For a full refund, it needs to be under the same PNR code. It's not like I prefer flying to Adana and then taking a 3.5-hour bus ride back to Hatay over a direct flight to Hatay. Why am I suffering the consequences of your lack of flights? Why should I endure additional financial and emotional distress and receive a refund that is ₺400 short? I want this financial and emotional grievance resolved. I don't want to suffer any more.
