On May 25, 2026, at 9:19 PM, I received a text message on my mobile phone number from a sender identified as “Discord.” The message contained a security verification code and stated, “Your Discord security code.” However, I do not have a Discord account, nor was I performing any action related to Discord at that time.

Receiving a security code from a platform I have never used is both concerning and unsettling. It raises questions about whether my phone number may have been registered within Discord’s system without my knowledge or consent. Since I have never created or used a Discord account, I have no reason to receive authentication or verification messages from the platform.

At this point, I have not yet contacted Discord’s support team regarding the issue. Nevertheless, I believe this matter requires clarification and investigation.

I request that Discord verify whether my mobile phone number has been associated with any account on its platform without my authorization. If an account has been created or linked using my number, I ask that it be removed immediately and that my phone number be completely deleted from Discord’s records where applicable. I also request confirmation that no future security codes, verification messages, or similar SMS notifications will be sent to my number without my explicit consent.
