Turkish Airlines Canceled My Flight But Didn't Provide Transportation or Accommodation Service
On January 9th, my PNR: vjgkıc numbered flight to Buhara was canceled, leaving me with an unexpected journey from Semerkant. The cancellation notice came four hours late, at 19:00 for a 15:15 flight. Turkish Airlines shifted me to a Semerkant flight scheduled for the next morning at 06:00. Shockingly, neither transportation nor accommodation was provided at Buhara airport, with a dismissive response: "We don't offer such services."
Despite the services promised under passenger rights on your website, I received none. Now, you insist on payment without providing invoices for the incurred expenses. Your passenger rights information fails to mention the necessity of obtaining an invoice in case of cancellations. Why not include a clear directive to "request an invoice in case of cancellation"? Turkish Airlines seems to prefer the traditional merchant mindset, sticking to the outdated notion of "profit at all costs." Such an approach doesn't lead anywhere. Be transparent and fair; don't mislead passengers. Show justice.
