On 26.02.2024 at 09:10, I approached the Business Class counter at 06:20 for my Erzurum - Istanbul flight and requested an emergency exit seat if available, or otherwise to keep my current seat unchanged. Despite being told that the emergency exit seat was available, I was given the last and most cramped seat on the plane. This issue is not unique to me; I witnessed other passengers experiencing similar treatment. Additionally, I frequently encounter this problem with Turkish Airlines (THY) flights. The behavior of the staff at the counters is inexplicable. I believe THY should promptly address this issue and prevent such discomforting situations. I do not want to experience this frustrating situation before my travels due to the arbitrary attitudes of the counter staff. Sincerely, O*** E***.
