THY Flight TK2646: Misleading Information from Flight Attendant and Rough Landing

On July 14, 2024, the TK2646 Istanbul-Elazig flight departed with a 1-hour delay. While charging my phone using my personal PowerBank on the plane, the flight attendant intervened and informed me that using a PowerBank during the flight was prohibited. When I mentioned that there was no such instruction in the safety video or on the safety card, she claimed that this directive was communicated exclusively to them by the THY headquarters a month ago. Upon researching this on the THY website, I found no such directive or regulation. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the flight attendant's name as her nametag was covered by her scarf. Not only was I unable to charge my phone during the flight, but the plane also made a rough landing at Elazig Airport, causing me (I have arrhythmia) and many other passengers to panic and become extremely frightened. Of course, there was no apology or explanation from the pilot or cabin crew regarding the rough landing. I don't know if this complaint will be taken seriously, but the situation with THY and its staff deeply saddens and inconveniences us.
