THY Flight TK0173 Engine Issue and Passenger Inconvenience

On May 17, 2024, at 22:15, flight TK0173 from HKT to IST experienced an engine issue shortly after takeoff, leading to an emergency landing at Hyderabad Airport in India. This incident resulted in a 36-hour inconvenience. Due to the landing time, I missed another flight I had booked for 5 hours later. The flight crew provided insufficient information and poorly managed the 4-hour wait inside the plane. All passengers were left in an area without water, while the flight crew went to their hotels, leaving us in hours of uncertainty without any official present. Hours later, we finally had access to water and food. Information about the return flight was provided later but did not occur on time. During the wait, no accommodation support was provided, forcing us to sleep on chairs and the floor. Additionally, we incurred expenses to meet our needs. Overall, there was a 36-hour period of financial, physical, and psychological inconvenience. The flight took place exactly 24 hours after the scheduled time, violating passenger rights. I request a refund for my plane ticket, reimbursement for my expenses, and full compensation for my rights.
