I Had a Very Serious Inconvenience Due to Turkish Airlines' Flight Cancellation

I had a flight ticket for September 23rd at 9:00 PM from Dubrovnik to Istanbul, which was canceled due to weather conditions. I was left very distressed at the airport; only a blanket was provided, and I was expected to sleep there. The next flight was 14 hours later, and hundreds of people were lying on the ground on the entrance floor. I also had a ticket for September 24th at 2:00 AM from Istanbul to Ankara. Since the flight was canceled at 12:00 PM, I immediately called THY to get a refund or at least an open ticket for my Ankara flight, but I was told that nothing could be done within the last 12 hours. How could I have known 12 hours in advance that the Dubrovnik flight would be canceled? I urgently request a refund for my burned ticket or an open ticket. I experienced very serious inconvenience.
