I Experienced Inconvenience Due to Flight Delay by Turkish Airlines

Today, November 11, 2023, my flight from Kastamonu to Istanbul Airport was scheduled for 13:15. The flight started 10-15 minutes late even before it began. While we were waiting, the staff member said the delay was normal due to the late arrival of the plane, which I found to be an unreasonable explanation. There was no apology for the delay. We boarded the plane thinking a 10-minute delay was acceptable. Although the flight should have ended at 14:40 under normal conditions, the pilot announced around 14:10 that we would land in 25 minutes. However, the plane circled over Sakarya for quite some time. We finally landed at Istanbul Airport around 15:40. To make matters worse, we spent another half hour taxiing on the runway after landing. There was no explanation or apology for the delay. During the flight, an elderly passenger felt unwell, and the flight attendants did not provide proper care. They briefly checked on her, told her to breathe in and out, and left, returning half an hour later asking how she was as if they had been attentive. Other passengers helped the elderly lady. This incident occurred in row 15. As a result, I and other passengers lost an hour of our time and were inconvenienced. I missed my bus and was late for my appointments. Not even an apology was offered. I demand compensation for the inconvenience I experienced.
