Trip.com Sold Meal-Included Ticket but Airline Did Not Serve Food

I purchased a ticket through Trip.com for an Indigo Airlines flight on February 1, 2026, on the Phuket–Mumbai–Istanbul route, under PNR number P8EFKJ. The ticket was listed as economy class with meals included. However, during this long 18-hour journey, I was not served any meal at all.
I noticed that the cabin crew had a checklist with notes next to passenger names indicating “meal included.” Meals were only distributed to passengers who were marked as eligible on that list. I was told that there was no such marking next to my name. When I asked about it, I was informed that the issue was related to the platform where I purchased the ticket and that I could only receive a meal if I paid extra. However, the ticket I bought through Trip.com clearly showed that meals were included.
This situation caused me inconvenience and made me feel like I was treated as a second-class passenger. I am currently in contact with Trip.com customer service seeking a resolution, but I have not yet received a clear response.
I request a partial refund from Trip.com for the hardship caused by selling a ticket advertised as including meals but failing to provide that service. I also request that the matter be thoroughly reviewed to prevent similar misinformation or booking errors from happening again.
