Trip.com Issued Separate PNRs And Failed To Seat Us Together On Return Flight

On 03.09.2025, I purchased two round-trip flight tickets through Trip.com: Ankara → Rize (outbound) and Trabzon → Ankara (return on 06.09.2025). The total payment was ₺3,448, with PNR codes 369bms and 369aqz. However, the return tickets were issued under separate PNRs, which resulted in my nephew and me not being able to sit together on the flight. This was extremely inconvenient and disappointing.
I attempted to contact Trip.com customer service to resolve the matter, but I repeatedly received the response: “We are outside of working hours”. No actual assistance or solution was offered. For a platform of this scale, failing to provide proper support and making such basic errors in booking is unacceptable.
I expect this service failure to be compensated with a substantial discount voucher. Otherwise, I will consider closing my account and discontinuing my use of Trip.com. I request an urgent response and a fair resolution to this issue.
