I booked through Trip.com and had one of the hardest times I've ever had with a travel company. There was no way for me to get a refund or even a simple change when I needed help with my booking. Every time I tried to get help, I had to wait days without getting any response. I felt like the company had cut everything back to the bare minimum to save money, which left customers like me with no real help.
