On January 17, 2025, I purchased a red chiffon belted dress from the seller “By Melis Butik” on Trendyol. I tried the product at home and, realizing that the size didn’t fit, returned it the same day. However, Trendyol rejected my return request, claiming that the seller stated the product had been “used.” This claim is completely untrue—the dress was only tried on once and immediately returned. I also sent photos to Trendyol showing the product’s condition, but they did not respond or take any action. The dress is still in its shipping package and was sent back to me. I trusted Trendyol as an intermediary platform, but throughout this process, I was left victimized as a customer and saw that Trendyol failed to fulfill its responsibility as a mediator. Moreover, the negative review I wrote about this experience was not published, even though it contained no insults or inappropriate language, and I was never given an explanation for why it was withheld. I request that the false “used product” claim be corrected, my return be accepted with a full refund issued, and my review be published. I expect Trendyol to prioritize customer satisfaction and transparency.
