I booked an Istanbul-Seoul ticket today at 11:23 AM via tickets.com.tr for 17,178.57 TL. Shockingly, at 1:36 PM, they emailed me, demanding an extra 1,448.10 TL due to alleged price changes.
Upon expressing my refusal to pay the additional fee and opting for a cancellation, they claimed they would refund 16,140.47 TRY. When I warned the customer support representative, Ö***, about involving the Consumer Arbitration Committee if no refund occurred, his response was dripping with sarcasm: 'We appreciate your excitement, but please be aware that sending repeated emails might trigger our spam filters, landing your emails in our spam folder.'
On the same day, they demanded money for the reservation and sought additional payments. When I attempted to cancel, they inexplicably withheld fees, and the customer service representative mocked me.
My experience has been a disaster, and I'll never make another purchase through this website. Thanks to them, I also missed out on discounted alternative tickets.
