Hoover Washing Machine Became Extremely Loud Within One Year
I purchased a Hoover washing machine on April 15, 2024, for approximately $230, and for the past two months it has been making an extremely loud noise every time it operates. This issue has significantly reduced my comfort while using the appliance and has also caused serious concern that the machine may be defective. When I contacted an authorized Hoover service center, without opening the machine or conducting a detailed inspection, they immediately claimed that a foreign object had entered the drum, stated that this would not be covered under warranty, said that the drum cannot be disassembled on these models, and insisted that the entire drum must be replaced, demanding a repair fee of $200. My service report number is 2673179. For a relatively new product that is still under warranty, being told it is out of warranty without a proper examination and being asked to pay an amount nearly equal to the product’s purchase price has left me seriously disadvantaged and has significantly damaged my trust in the brand. I request that the noise issue with my recently purchased, in-warranty product be examined thoroughly and transparently, that any alleged user fault be clearly explained and supported with evidence if it truly exists, and otherwise that the problem be resolved under warranty without any additional cost to me.
