Tesla Model Y Glass Roof Crack: Request for Warranty Replacement

On July 26, 2024, I discovered that the glass roof of my Tesla Model Y had cracked while parked in a closed garage. I learned that this issue has also been reported by other Model Y users. Believing it to be a manufacturing defect, I opened a service request. However, the service team insists on replacing it through my insurance.
I am requesting that the glass be replaced under warranty due to the suspected production issue.
