Sunexpress Airlines Charges Unexpected Cabin Bag Fees Due to Weight Limit
On our SunExpress flight from Izmir to Düsseldorf, we were charged €30 per person for baggage, even though our tickets indicated cabin baggage. They told us there was a 4 kg limit, which forced us to pay a total of €60. They claimed it was stated somewhere in the terms and conditions when purchasing the ticket, but I didn't see any clear notice about this, and our online ticket only mentioned cabin baggage without specifying a weight limit. Since the flight was early in the morning, we were unprepared for this extra cost. Passengers are greatly inconvenienced by such unexpected fees.
