SunExpress Delayed Luggage for 2 Days: No Compensation Despite Multiple Requests
In June, we flew with SunExpress from Düsseldorf to Izmir, but our luggage was not loaded onto the plane. Our bags, containing personal items and spare clothes, arrived two days after our arrival. The day after we arrived, we had to purchase toiletries and replacement clothes. According to EU regulations, SunExpress is obligated to compensate us for this inconvenience. However, despite submitting a claim and months passing, no one has contacted us or provided any reimbursement. I called twice and was told they would look into it, but nothing has been done. Additionally, when I filed my complaint in both English and Turkish because my spouse is a foreigner, the Turkish department amusingly said they don’t handle complaints. We need SunExpress to address this issue and fulfill their responsibility under EU laws.
They paid my money, but months later... They also sent an email saying they contacted me in September and to check my spam folder. Excuse me, but I submitted my request in July. I'm considering not choosing Sunexpress again.
