On July 25, 2024, I traveled with SunExpress on flight XQ-788 from Ankara Esenboğa Airport to Hannover Airport in Germany. Upon returning home and opening my suitcase, I noticed that some items were missing from my backpack. I would like to mention that not all items in my luggage have receipts.
The missing items were taken from the checked luggage I handed over to the airline. The missing items are as follows:
2 kilograms of Antep pistachios purchased from Turkey.
My wife’s pregnancy medications: 3 boxes of Folio 2 and 2 boxes of Ass Dexcel Protect 75mg.
This situation has caused significant distress, especially since the missing items include medications essential for my pregnant wife. This loss goes beyond financial impact, creating emotional distress and posing a potential health risk.
Given the severity of the issue, particularly concerning the missing medications, we are facing a considerable hardship.
I urgently request that you address this baggage security issue and compensate for the missing items. To document the situation, I have attached photos of the missing items and any available documents showing their value.
I kindly request that you take the necessary actions and inform the relevant departments to initiate the compensation process. I look forward to your prompt response on this matter.
